He was predeceased by: his father Fred (Pauline); and his daughter Cynthia. He is survived by: his wife Claudia; his sons, Steven J. Lenz (Lisa) and Robert Lenz; his stepchildren, Janet Szumal (Robert Cooke) and Robert Szumal Jr. (Vanessa); and his grandson Steven E. Lenz.
