She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Granger and Joseph Granger; her husband George J. Gunkel; her daughter Patricia Robertson; and her siblings, Lawrence, Bernard, Raymond, Robert, Genevieve and Patricia.

She is survived by: her children, Meg Lee (Don), Lynn Rebus (Paul), George W. Gunkel, Rick Gunkel (Cindy) and Janet Kanis (Bill).
