He is survived by: his wife Linda Knizner; his children, Richard "Rick" Knizner (Michelle), Jeff Knizner and Kristin Pierce (Jeff); his grandsons, Tyler, Jack and Carter Pierce; his brother Tom Knizner (Diane); and his sisters-in-law, Audrey Budzik (late Gerald) and Barbara Porter (Peter).
