He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Greening and Emma Greening; his wife Carolyn Kay Murdock; his son Douglas; his grandson Christopher; and his siblings, Henry Greening, Reinhold Greening and Evelyn Schlager.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Greening and David Greening (Sheryl); his grandchildren, Christine Nelson (Michael), Kevin Greening (Sarah) and Shawn Greening (Alaina); and his great grandchildren, Annika Nelson and Blair Greening.
