It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Wayne Thompson of Litchfield, Illinois, who passed away on June 15, 2025, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Daniel may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Daniel touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his parents, Kathleen Thompson (McCauley) of Swansea, IL and Phillip Thompson; his children, Caleb Thompson (Brooke) of Augusta, MI and Lauren Thompson of Dunlap, IL; his siblings, Emily Linge (Paul) of Evansville, IN and Eric Thompson (Melissa) of Swansea, IL; and his grandsons, Kyler and Evan Thompson of Augusta, MI..
