He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry A. Grove and Wilma June Grove (Atteberry); his brothers, Harry Grove and Bruce Grove; and his nephew Michael Grove.

He is survived by : his wife Cynthia A. Trobaugh; his daughter Abby Wright (Barry) of Marion; his sister Sharon Wimberly (Richard) of Litchfield; his grandchildren, Grace Wright and Andrew Wright; his nieces, Stacie Stanford (Brad) and Melissa Austin (Brent); and his nephew Steven Wimberly (Alisha).
