She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron Brooks and Verna Lillian Bowles (Besanceney); her husband Carl Eugene Johnston; her son Scott Johnston; her in-laws, Oscar and Margaret Bockewitz; and her brothers, Derald (Bertie Bowles) and Lester (Joanne Bowles).
She is survived by: her daughter Pam; her son-in-law Ron Norris of Litchfield; her son Tim; her daughter-in-law Kim Johnston of Wisconsin; her grandchildren, Trisha Hoagland (John) of Waterloo, IL, Cameron Norris (Jillian) of Austin, TX, Corey, Courtney and Christian Johnston; and her great grandchildren, Ava, Easton Hoagland, Jace, Brice, Emma and Rowen Norris.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Plummer Funeral Home (404 E Union Ave, Litchfield, IL 62056). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to New Hope Baptist Church in Litchfield, IL.
