He is survived by: his wife Doris Irene Burris; his children, David Zumwalt Spensberger (Karen) of O'Fallon, IL, Jonathon Zumwalt of Springfield, IL, Mary Zumwalt of Litchfield and Susan Longwell (Jerry) of St. Clair, MO; his siblings, Robert Zumwalt (Patty) of Litchfield, Bert Zumwalt (Michelle) of Virden, IL, Orville Zumwalt (Angela) of Roodhouse, IL, Patty Allen of Hamel, IL and Mona Elizondo (Ralph) of Pensacola, FL; and his grandchildren, Sabrina Herbert, Taylor Dilks, Stephen Strem, Michael OBrien, Jonathan Hammond, Brooke Shuey, Kayla Zumwalt, Dakota Fones, Haley Harshani, Dani Hammond, Christian Zumwalt, Ashley Frailey, Rebecca Kitchens, Jessica Wilson and Tabitha Wilson. He is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren.
