Janet Davis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Davis of Litchfield, Illinois, who passed away on September 26, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Leander Baugher Jr. and Annie Elizabeth Kelly; her sister Jane Cletcher; and her brother-in-law Kenny Cletcher of Eldorado. She is survived by: her husband Jeff Davis Sr. of Litchfield; her daughter Jamie Henshaw Gaffner (Scott) of Greenville; her grandsons, Caleb Gaffner of Greenville and Cody Gaffner of Chillicothe; her son Jimmy E. Henshaw; her stepson Jeff Davis (Rachel) of Hillsboro; her grandchildren, Katelyn Davis (Blake Cavins), Hunter Davis, John Davis (Sandra) of Olney, Viktoria Willis (Triston Mitchel) and Elijah Willis (Bree Holdren); her brother Eddie Lee Baugher (Vickie) of Eldorado; and her sibling's children, Mary Bowlby, Kimberly Vessel, Meesha Worley (Shannon) and Matthew Baugher. She is also survived by numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Southside Church (500 S Illinois Ave, Litchfield, IL 62056). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the South Side Church Building Fund or to the Montgomery County Cancer Association.
