It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maralyn Hammond of Litchfield, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on August 1, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Boyd Russell and Ann Russell (Warner); her spouse Dale L. Hammond; her sister Bonnie L. Russell of Williamsville, Her; her sister-in-law Lois Peper (Lester) of Raymond; her nieces, Jennifer Felty (Kenny) and Julie Nickles (Josh); her great-niece Lindsey Nickles; her great-nephews, Lucas and Landon Nickles; and her brother James L. Russell.

The family suggests memorials be made to Pleasant Hill Christian Church.
