He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore R. Lawson and Yolda D. Lawson (Rulo); his brother Junior; and his sister-in-law Sue Lawson. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy M. Longwell; his children, Brad Lawson (Jenn Reummler), David Lawson (Brandi), Tammy Smith (Chris), Randy Boerckel (Teresa) and Sandy Boerckel; his brothers, Ted Lawson (Judy), Richard Lawson (Inez) and Johnny Lawson (Sue); and his grandchildren, Nancy Dearinger (Chris), Pam Boerckel (Jeff Heyen), Amanda Green (Andrew), Brandy Shaw (Mike), Randy Boerckel (Tiffany), Ian Lawson, James Rogers, Rebecca Lawson, Andrea Lawson, Tim Lawson, Hunter Lawson, Ashley Register and Rick Boerckel. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
