He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wooten and Ella Wooten (Stedham); and his siblings, Michael Wooten, Matt Wooten, Herbert Wooten, Willie Wooten, Jr., Shelby Terry, Virgie Colwell, Sally Johnson, Ollie Campbell and Rosemary Spicer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Self (James) of Raymond, Linda Eddings (Jeff) of Raymond and Angela Williams (Selone) of Edwardsville; his grandchildren, Heather Apps, Jennifer Archer (Justin), Leslie Berardinelli (Dominic), Brock Eddings (Michelle), Brett Eddings (Marlie), Brittany Smith, Chase Williams, Michael Williams, Slone Williams, Casey Morgan (Jesse), Abby Mitchell (Cameron) and Allyson Harlacher (Jason); and his close friend Nancy Jones of Litchfield.
The family suggests memorials may be made to New Hope Baptist Church.
