We announce the death of Sandra Fontana of Litchfield, Illinois, who passed away on May 30, 2026, at the age of 84. Sandra will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her father John Chismarick; her husband Samuel R. Fontana; her son Vincent Brian Burritt; her mother Margaret Anne Giller (Whitman); and her siblings, Kenneth Chismarick, George Giller, Bobby Giller, Sonny Giller, Nancy Weller (Giller) and Ruth Ann Vollintine (Giller).
She is survived by: her daughters, Valarie Ann Bliss (Marshall) of Roseville, CA and Violet Castro of Sacramento, CA; and her siblings, Roberta (Bertie), Eddie, Lily and Maggie. She is also survived by nine granchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
