He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W. Bateman and Rose Mary Frank Bateman; and his sister Hazel Diane Bateman. He is survived by: his wife Dianne E. Moore of Literberry; his son Jim S. Bateman (Stephanie) of Arenzville; his grandchildren, Brooklynn H. Bateman and William S. Bateman; his siblings, David Bateman of Kansas and Connie Butler of Jacksonville; and his brother-in-law Tom Moore (Joanne) of Literberry. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
