She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Weir and Lena E. Giddings (Lewis); and her siblings, Marshall "Louis" Giddings and Jeanette F. Koch. She is survived by: her children, Rick Armstrong of Little York, IL and Sandy Galusha (Tom) of Rural Monmouth, IL; her grandchildren, Amy Burton of Iowa, Jennifer Armstrong of Michigan, Katy Lucas (Cody) of Oklahoma, Brandon Galusha (Lindsey) of Little York, IL and Michael Galusha of Galesburg, IL; her great grandchildren, Jacob, Kora Galusha of Little York, Chelsea Nute (Cody) of Peoria, IL, Sebastion, Seth, Sam Demoss of Michigan, Dillon and Taya Lucas of Oklahoma; and her great great grandchildren, Bryleigh of Peoria, IL, Charlie of Peoria, IL and Emmerson Nute of Peoria, IL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McGuire and Davies Funeral Home (1007 North G Street, Monmouth, IL 61462). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the First Christian Church (514 N Sunny Ln, Monmouth, IL 61462).

Memorials may be given to the First Christian Church of Monmouth or St. Jude Children's Hospital and sent to the funeral home.
