He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred DeCero and Mary DeCero (Niksich); and his brother Daniel. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen (Harman); his sons, Anthony, Joseph (Sylvia) and Daniel (Kathryn); his grandchildren, Michael (Haley), Nicholas, Gianna, Natalie, Daniel, Matthew, Nadine and Katelyn; and his great grandchildren, Ellis, Augustus and Vincent.
