He was predeceased by : his parents, Anton Smrekar and Frances Smrekar (Papesh); and his brother David Smrekar. He is survived by : his wife Janice (Novak); his daughters, Carolyn Randall (Brandt), Patricia Kelly (Sean) and Janet Slomka (Richard); and his siblings, Robert Smrekar (Judy), Geraldine Grivetti (late Robert), Marianne Judy Smrekar (late David) and Frances Mutz (Rick). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tony's memory to Lightways Hospice.
