It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Embery of Lockport, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on April 22, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Gibbons and John T. Gibbons; her husband William L. Embery; and her brothers, John Gibbons (Mary) and Dennis Gibbons (Rita).
She is survived by: her children, William B. Embery, John Embery, Mary Szuta and Robert Embery (Irina); and her brother Joseph Gibbons (Sandra). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, a nephew, cousins and friends.
