He is survived by: his wife Diane Monari; his children, Alexander Monari (Jennifer Perez) and Alyssia Monari-Stoeberl (Chris); his grandchildren, Aden, Liam, Ava, Joselin and Jianna; and his siblings, Joseph, Mary, Esther, John, David, Jill and Ann. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
