It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald T. Richards of Lockport, Illinois, born in Aurora, Illinois, who passed away on January 3, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Richards and Marie Richards; and his sister-in-law Judy Pina (late Mike). He is survived by: his wife Carol Richards; his sons, David Richards (Denise), Jeffery Richards (Debra) and Patrick Richards (Tiffany); his grandchildren, Erin Saylor (Ryan), Kaitlyn Richards and Steven Richards; his great grandchild Avery Saylor; his brother Bob Richards (Merri); and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Ledoux (Rick) and Debra McFall (Troy). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
