He was predeceased by: his parents, Sevrin Swaback and Naomi Swaback (Symonds); his in-laws, Kenneth and Dorothy Hodges (Jago); and his brothers-in-law, Thomas Knoll and Kenneth Hodges, II.
He is survived by: his wife Bette Swaback (Hodges); his children, Scott Swaback and Robin Hartney (Robert); his sister Naomi Knoll; his siblings-in-law, Ted and Sally Hodges; his grandchildren, Grayson, Krissy, Lisa and Steven Hartney (Katelyn Mora); and his great grandchildren, Connor, Audrey Hartney and Khalil Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
