The family announces the passing of James B. Wallin of Lockport, Illinois on October 4, 2026. James, born on June 8, 1953, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
James will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor James by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though James is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. James’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his father William L. Kowalski. He is survived by: his children, Raymond (Shelly) and Angela; his sister Dawn Mettille (Lee); and his grandchildren, Henry, Ethan and Lydia.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Goodale Memorial Chapel & Heartland Cremation Services (912 S Hamilton St, Lockport, IL 60441). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
