We announce the death of JoAnn Suvada of Lockport, Illinois, who passed away on October 22, 2026, at the age of 91. JoAnn will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Suvada; her son Thomas Suvada; and her parents, Joseph Kovalcik and Anne Kovalcik. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Mounce (Mike Gray), Laura Eichhorn (Steven) and JoAnn Cava (Raymond); her grandchildren, Jeremy Mounce (Naomi), Calli Eichhorn, Isabel Cava and Daniel Cava; her great grandchildren, Eric, Dylan Mounce and Charlotte Cava; and her brother Joseph Kovalcik (Carolyn). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the O'Neil Funeral Home (1105 E 9th St, Lockport, IL 60441). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to your favorite charity in JoAnn's name would be greatly appreciated.
