He was predeceased by: his mother Geraldine Buss; and his siblings, Edward, Elaine, Carolyn, William "Billy" and Virginia.
He is survived by: his father Edward Buss; his wife Levette; his children, Chianta (Markez), Stacy, Ashley (James) and Joseph Jr. (Gisela); his grandchildren, Shanta, Manijah, Takayla, Joseph, Emma, Xander, Amelia "Mill-Mill" and Isabella "Bella"; his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Kavon, Rylan, Carter and Zuri; and his nieces and nephews, Posse Ron, Tim, Nick, Don and Jack.
