We bid farewell to June M. Kemp of Lockport, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 14, 2025 at the age of 91. June touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Winke and Neva Winke; her husbands, Jack Hurley and Ken Kemp; her stepdaughter Sandy Dries; and her siblings, Henrietta Winke, Evelyn Marti, Cecilia Cooper, Newton, John, Robert Winke, Ruth Reiter, Edward, Donald, Richard Winke and Marylou Holeman.
She is survived by: her sons, Dale (Kim) of Plainfield and Gary Hurley of Lockport; and her stepchildren, Janet Martens (Guy) of Lockport and Keith Kemp (Dena) of Salem, IL. She is also survived by five grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org) in June's name would be greatly appreciated.
