Kathryn Grace Gnatek Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kathryn Grace Gnatek of Lockport, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 21, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Kathryn leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her son Shane Alan Miller-Gnatek; her mother Helen McGownd; and her sister Lisa Sniegowski. She is survived by: her husband William J. "Bill" Gnatek; her father John McGownd; and her brother Dave McGownd (Rhonda). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, her church family, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (22712 Wolf Rd, Frankfort, IL 60423). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Kathryn' s family would be appreciated.
