She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Robert Czajkowski; her parents, Gladys Blasing and Woodrow Blasing; and her fiancé Richard Shirley. She is survived by: her children, Gregg Helmich (Twila), Sharon Vercellotti (Bill), Alan Czajkowski and Mark Czajkowski; her grandchildren, Christopher DeZutter (Paige), Dawn Murphy (Brandon), Alyssa DeZutter (David Kives), Keely Jessen (Nick), William Vercellotti, Makayla Shaw (John), Hannah Helmich, Tyler Helmich, Gabrielle Czajkowski and Carson Frick; her great grandchildren, Caden, Nicholas, Aiden, Letty, Gwenivere, Rachel, Maximus, Patrick, Kinslee, Penelope and Isabella; and her sister Doralee Bruecks (Thomas). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the O'Neil Funeral Home (1105 E 9th St, Lockport, IL 60441). A prayer will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church (305 Lemont St, Lemont, IL 60439). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery (16125 W 127th St, Lemont, IL 60439).
