It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sam Tyler of Lockport, Illinois, born in Eldorado, Illinois, who passed away on March 9, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his wife Vicky Tyler; and his parents, John Tyler and Emma Tyler (Nee Tomes). He is survived by : his children, JoAnn Dixon, John Tyler (Norine), Bill Tyler (Lupe) and Mike Tyler; his grandchildren, Adam Anderson (Alyssa), Beth Anderson, Jimmy Anderson, Pamela Mical (Rick), John Tyler (Ashley), Jeffrey Tyler (Madi), Jeremy Tyler, James Carpenter, Erika Gioiosa (Steve), Niko Carpenter (Nicole) and Chance Tyler; and his sisters, Emma Marie Leithliter and Dolores Collins. He is also survived by family members and friends.
