Sharon leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Sharon’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Sharon will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Vassalla and Lucille Vassalla. She is survived by: her husband William Cassidy III; her sons, James Greco (Maria) and William Cassidy (Christina); her grandchild Thomas Greco; her siblings, Sandra Painter (John) and Jerry Vassalla (Kelly); and her sister-in-law Joan Maita (Jim). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the O'Neil Funeral Home (1105 E 9th St, Lockport, IL 60441). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
