William J. Vasquez, born on February 26, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois, passed away on October 18, 2026. William leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Oscar Vasquez and Marietta Barbour; and his brothers, Joseph and Richard Vasquez. He is survived by: his children, Justin Vasquez (Katie Tollard) and Jessica Kask (late Noah); his grandsons, Tyler and Lincoln Vasquez; and his siblings, Jimmy Vasquez, Maureen Lanza (Peter) and Linda French (Wayne). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the O'Neil Funeral Home (1105 E 9th St, Lockport, IL 60441). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or ASPCA in William' s name would be greatly appreciated.
