She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford E. "Tommy" Welch and Dollie Welch (Eckhardt); her husband Lloyd Beryl Sparrow; her half-siblings, Roger Gittings and Phyllis Pindell; and her daughter-in-law Traci Sparrow.
She is survived by: her children, Carla Williams (Don) of West Burlington, Lloyd E. Sparrow (Janie) of Ocala, Ann Brooks (Michael) of Crestview, Martin Sparrow of Dallas City and Byron Sparrow (Jennifer) of Stronghurst; her grandchildren, Adonica Gould (Michael), Lucas Sparrow (Kaylyn), John Sparrow (Stephanie), Chastity Heagerty (Steve), Marc Sparrow (Skye Moore), Bobby Sparrow, Danielle Sparrow, Monte Cole, Kaitlin McVey (Matt), Jacob Sparrow and Mitchell Sparrow; and her sister-in-law Jean Anne Sparrow of Salem, Iowa.. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established for Hospice Compassus or the Lomax Fire Department.
