Carol left this world on December 7, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Richard Hallman; her children, Cindy Knoll (Rick) and Sandy Smith (Steve); her grandchildren, Griffin, Brian Knoll (Kate), McKenzie, McKayla and Kevin Smith; and her siblings, Pattie Collins (late John), Linda Spain (Jim) and Richard "Duke" Washco (Fran).
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 2nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Knollcrest Funeral Home (1500 S Meyers Rd, Lombard, IL 60148). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. James the Apostle Catholic Church (480 S Park Blvd, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137).
