He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Arlene; his children, Marlene Grandenitti (Carl), Chuck Slifka (Heather) and Cheryl Slifka; his grandsons, Michael (Emma), Adam, Jackson and Jeremy; and his great grandchildren, Lilia and Mateo. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Knollcrest Funeral Home (1500 S Meyers Rd, Lombard, IL 60148). A prayer was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 9:15 AM at the same location.
