David C. Berry Obituary

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Stephen (Nisrine), Sean (Shannon Gannon), Patrick and Meghan (Joseph Fedele); his grandson Noah; his siblings, Anthony (Mirta), Frank Jr. (Jeanie), Katherine (Michael), Reuben, Joseph (Andrea) and Linda (Terry); his siblings-in-law, James (Marie), Michael (Linda), Kevin (Mika), Paul (Yolanda), Karen (Tom Kolodziej) and Tim (Katie); his parents, Frank Berry and Florinda Berry; his parents-in-law, Stephen and Mary Considine; and his sister-in-law Franny Considine. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Steuerle Chapel (15 W Park Blvd, Villa Park, IL 60181). A prayer will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 9:45 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (1025 E Madison St, Lombard, IL 60148).
In the end, he was just a simple man who enjoyed keeping up with foreign affairs on CNN and reading his New York Times newspapers, always making sure to donate his read newspapers to the Greater Chicago Cage Bird Rescue & Adoption in Villa Park.
