He was predeceased by : his parents, Veva Hopkins and Roger Hopkins; and his former life partner Nancy Barber Pole. He is survived by : his sisters, Veva and Martha; his wife Ruth Hopkins; his children, Laura Mary Hopkins (Mike), James David Plumb, Michelle Plumb Berkland, Stacey Plumb Handal, Bob Pole (Pam Pole) and Cindy Pole Bertsch (Larry Bertsch); and his grandchildren, RJ, Andy, Alex Pole, Kevin, Jeff Ragsdale and Grace Bertsch.
