He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Clay Smith and Esther Smith (Reno). He is survived by: his wife Launa Smith (Tharp); his son Gregory Smith (Arlynne); his grandson Evan; his son Mark Smith (Eunyi); his grandchildren, Claire (Zachary Pozsar) and Holly (Tyler Van Doornik); his daughter Rebecca Storckman (Steven Storckman) of Round Lake; his grandchildren, Charlotte and Kurt; and his sister Carrie Crane (Mike Crane). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and other family members.
