James L. Gill Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James L. Gill of Long Point, Illinois, born in Streator, Illinois, who passed away on September 1, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Gill and Edna Gill (Herb); his son-in-law Scott Shamburger; and his sisters, Shirley Reick and Carol Gueldenhaar.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Shamburger of Broken Arrow, OK, Andy Gill (Angie) of Oswego, Cindy Wheeler (Gary) of Streator, Steve Gill of Long Point and Darcy Mitchell (Greg) of Mendota; his siblings, Ronald Gill (Gloria) of Moran, KS and Marna Elias (David) of Rockford; and his pets, Zeke and Zoe. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in his name to either the Livingston County Humane Society or Pet Project.
