It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie R Shaffer of Loraine, Illinois, born in Quincy, Illinois, who passed away on February 21, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Shaffer and Loney Belle Jackson Shaffer; his siblings, William, Freddy, Hilda, Mary, Carolyn and Frances; and his stepson Chad Ruebbelke.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Rose Ruebbelke; his daughter Melanie Del Castillo (David); his grandchildren, Marco Del Castillo and Christian Del Castillo (Bri); his great grandchild Cortez Del Castillo; his grandchild Willie Jr. Shaffer (April); his great grandchildren, Abigail Shaffer, Ashton Powers, Alainabelle Shaffer, Amberlyn Shaffer and Nichole Roberts (Luke); Luke Jr. Roberts (Matti), Julie Roberts, Brandy Shaffer, Cody Shaffer, Sawyer Shaffer and Annaliese Shaffer.
