She was predeceased by : her parents, Mervin L. Smaling and Hope E. Smaling (Robertson); her former life partner Frank E. Purdy; her husband Milton G. Hartenbower; and her stepsons, Milton Fred and Michael A. Hartenbower.
She is survived by : her sons, Steven C. Purdy (Lori) of Papillion, NE, Neal R. Purdy (Marti) of Colorado Springs, CO and David E. Purdy (Leslie) of Springfield; her stepson Edward Hartenbower (Sherry); her stepdaughters-in-law, Toni and Sharon Hartenbower; her grandchildren, Craig Purdy, Michelle Eslira (Jay), Kathleen Purdy (Mike), Andrew Purdy (Josh), Eric Purdy, Connor Purdy, Benjamin Hartenbower, John Hartenbower, Jacob Hartenbower, Zachary Hartenbower, Mary Arellano (Nick), Jeffrey Hartenbower (Molly), Elizabeth Fairley (Cameron), Brian Hartenbower, Michelle Hartenbower and Matthew Hartenbower; and her brother Oral M. Smaling (Kate) of Bloomington. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren.
