With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bill Ikemire of Louisville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 16, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Everet Ikemire and Irene Ikemire (Farris); his wife Mary Ellen Ikemire; his daughters, Nancy Butler and Pam Casolari; his grandchildren, Meagan Casolari and Baby Butler; his siblings, Evelyn Toliver, Virginia Welch, Lillian Ikemire, Betty Wattles, Dean Ikemire and Jean Ikemire; and his siblings-in-law, Geneva Block, Lawrence Kittle, Don "Red" Kittle and Everette Kittle.
He is survived by: his children, Bill Ikemire (Becky) of Clay City, Diane Frye (Jerry) of Louisville, Myrna Etchison (Joe) of Flora and Greg Ikemire (Debbie) of Effingham; his grandchildren, Scott (Elizabeth), Melissa, Mike (Angie), Derek (Sydney), Brock (Tiffany), Mackenzie, Bryce, Carson, Kendall and Will (Kenzie); and his sisters-in-law, Mary Katherine Kittle of Flora and Kathryn Kittle of Flora. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Rather than purchasing flowers or other gift items, the family suggests the most meaningful way to honor Bill's memory is through a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
