With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Spicer of Louisville, Illinois, who passed away on September 20, 2023 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth Spicer to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Loren Hockman and Pearl Hockman (Logan); her spouse Van Terry Spicer; and her siblings, Judy Anderson, Fern Krutsinger, Buddy, Ed and Ron Hockman.

She is survived by : her son Phillip Spicer (Ericka); her grandson Dustin Spicer (JoAnna); her brothers-in-law, Bob Anderson and Darrell Spicer; and her pets, Scooter and Daisy. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Memorial donations are suggested to Clay County Animal Rescue & Shelter (CCARS) and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
