It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara J. Wiegel of Loves Park, Illinois, who passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara J. Wiegel to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldon Bendle and Albertha Bendle (Kross); and her husband Richard Wiegel. She is survived by: her sons, Vance Wiegel (Kristi) of Rockford, Mark Wiegel (Jill) of Rockton and Sherman Wiegel (Sandy) of Cincinnati, OH; her grandchildren, Matthew Wiegel (Shauna), Amanda Van Spankeren (Mike), Benjamin Wiegel (Jenna), Laura Tiggelaar (Hayes), Sam and Sydney Wiegel; and her great grandchildren, Cayden, Ryker Van Spankeren, Theo, Ezra, Lilian, Josephine Wiegel, Beckett and Brynlee Tiggelaar. She is also survived by numerous brothers, sisters.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fred C. Olson Chapel (1001 2nd Ave, Rockford, IL 61104).
Memorials may be made to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.
