David W. Mix Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David W. Mix of Loves Park, Illinois, who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 31, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As David departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though David may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy David leaves behind.
He is survived by: his parents, Lawrence G. Mix and Jane G. Mix (Graves); his siblings, Evan Mix (Simone) of Durham, NC, Katharine Rose (Matthew) of Grand Rapids, MI and Sarah Qualls of Maplewood, MN; and his nephews, Ezra, Simon, Judah Abel Rose and Everett Qualls.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the North Main Chapel (2811 N Main St, Rockford, IL 61103). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Fred C. Olson Chapel (1001 2nd Ave, Rockford, IL 61104).
