It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas A. Williams (Loves Park, Illinois), who passed away on May 2, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his children, Dougie and Linda Roland; his parents, Raymond Gruszka and Margaret Gruszka; his nephew Kenny Benak; and his brother-in-law Walter Rose.
He is survived by: his wife Shelly; his son Charles E. Roland (Lucy); his grandchildren, Conner Roland (Kirsten), Camoriah "Riah" Eaton (Thomas), Felix Buchs and Anna Kauchak (Andy); his sister Donna O'Toole; his siblings-in-law, Kathy Rose, Dan Cox (Teresa), Sam Cox (Denise) and Al Cox; his caregiver April; Lauren. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
