With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward A. Hook of Loves Park, Illinois, born in Clinton, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 2, 2024 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hook and Bernice Hook; his wife Sharon Mahala Hook (Shallenburger); and his siblings, Cheryl Paston and Dwayne Hook.
He is survived by: his children, Troy Edward Hook, Cindy Lea Snuggs, Paul Allen Hook and Ray Gene Hook; his grandchildren, Jedidiah, Brice, Brady, Alexandra, Sean, Genevieve, Miah, Bella, Lila, Hannah, David, Jarod and Collin; his great grandchild Scarlett; and his brothers, Richard and Larry Hook.
