She was predeceased by: her parents, William Grant and Vida Grant (Chism); and her husband Leonard Duane Joyner. She is survived by: her children, Gerald Joyner, Debra Thompson, Jeannie Joyner and Deana Joyner-Namia; and her sister Aldine Domer. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
