She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood Heatherington and Margaret Heatherington (Stewart); her husband Peter; her siblings, John, Patricia (Ronald), Mary Kay and Keith; and her friend Margaret "Pudge" Dempsey.

She is survived by: her children, Michael (Julie), Michele and Mark (Nancy); her grandchildren, Paul (Leslie), Lauren (Dan), Ryan (Emily), Nicholas and Sarah; her great grandchildren, Max, Molly, Elaina, Owen, Isla, Maddox, Julian and Adrian; her great great grandchild Mila; and her sister-in-law Ruth.
