Though Ingeborg has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She is survived by: her husband Norman Fisher; her son Bruce Fisher; her daughter-in-law Inae; her grandsons, Zachary and Matthew Fisher; and her sisters, Alma Green (Charlie) of Albany and Lioba Heiler of Wurzburg, Germany. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (2821 N Bell School Rd, Rockford, IL 61107). A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
