It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry D. Eitel of Loves Park, Illinois, who passed away on December 12, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Jerry departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Jerry may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jerry leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Eitel and Marguerite Eitel (Paris); his wife Laura Eitel; and his daughter Debbie Tufty. He is survived by: his son James Eitel (Tania). He is also survived by three granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
