He was predeceased by: his parents, John Otwell and Lytha Otwell (Howard); his son Steve Otwell; his stepson Wally Abraham (Denise); and his siblings, Jesse Otwell, Willard Otwell, Maggie Fincher and Fannie Belle Prewitt.
He is survived by: his wife Eva Beck; his children, Karen Pierce, Leann Hittner (John) and David Otwell (Janet); and his stepchildren, Deb Seyler (Gregg), Dawn Abraham, Denny Abraham (Debbie) and David Abraham (Amy). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
